Why you should listen to podcasts

If you find yourself bored out of your mind and have nothing to do, listen to a podcast. And let me tell
you why.
We all know that you have watched everything there is to watch on Netflix, Hulu, and Disney and need
something new to get into. I can sincerely say that no matter what you are interested in there is a
podcast that you would like. Quarantine has people all over the country trying new things in hope to
stay entertained and listening to podcasts is perfect. One great thing about podcasts is most of them are
ongoing, so there is constantly new episodes and not long periods of waiting before more content is
released.
My favorite thing about podcasts is hearing everyday people give their thoughts, tell hilarious stories, or
teach me something new just because they wanted to. The amount of hard work and time that goes into
just creating one episode of a podcast is incredible and it lets you know how much that person really
cares about what they are doing. It is like a small business when you compare it to other forms of
entertainment like tv or music, and everyone should want to support small businesses.
Now I have heard the argument that it is not interesting or entertaining to listen to people talk and not
watch something, but that is the great thing about podcasts. Most of the time podcasts are available on
YouTube to watch. There are so many ways and opportunities to listen to podcasts. There are tons of
different platforms, websites, and apps available to listen to an endless number of podcasts, it is almost
overwhelming with how many choices there are.
There are all kind of different podcasts, and there is one out there for you to enjoy. There are ones
about true crime, embarrassing stories, and life advice. There is something for everyone, which is why
everyone should try and listen to podcasts.
After listening to a few you may even want to start one yourself.
