Founded in 2017 in Rogers, Arkansas, 7 Brew has quickly become one of the most popular drive-thru coffee spots in the United States. It is best known for radiating kindness, fun drinks and quick service. After seeing all the rave reviews on TikTok, I was extremely excited when the company announced it was opening its first location in the Omaha area. The original opening date was set for Dec. 8, but after being pushed back several times due to various construction issues, they officially opened Jan. 19.
When I said, “most popular drive-thru spot,” I meant causing significant amounts of traffic levels of popular. There was chaos near its location at 180th and West Maple on opening day. People eager to get a taste were lined up along Maple Street and wrapped around the building.
Do not get me wrong, I too was yearning to try what everyone was raving about online, but I personally chose to not wait in that line. Instead, I waited a few days after the craziness and the line was much more peaceful.
Even with the freezing cold temperature and the staff still training new employees, I got my order taken very quickly. The 7 Brew crew are known for their genuine kindness and uplifting attitudes. When I went, they lived up to their reputation. The two girls taking my order were pleasant toward me. They asked me questions about how my day has been and if I had any plans for the rest of the evening. The two of them seemed genuinely engaged in the conversation.
Another pleasant surprise was the price of my drink. The coffee rang up to $6.97, after tax, for a 24-ounce drink. This is a much cheaper alternative compared to other popular coffee chains that charge more for less coffee.
From iced energy drinks to unique flavors of coffee, 7 Brew has so many funky drinks to try. Even though it was a tough decision, I landed on ordering an iced banana bread blondie made with oat milk.Let me tell you, the drink was perfectly acquired to my taste buds. The Blondie is a 7 Brew original with tastes of their signature espresso, sweet vanilla, buttery caramel and exclusive breve.
Their drinks are known to be extremely sweet for some, but the banana bread syrup combined with the creamy oat milk made the sweetness just right. Overall, the experience of the new 7 Brew in Omaha was excellent, and I now understand what all the chaos was for.
